The seventh and eighth graders completed a science lab working with centripetal force. Each group made a rocket. It was a water bottle propped up by three pencils. They filled each bottle about three-fourths full with vinegar. Next, they dumped baking soda into the bottle and quickly put it upside down on the blacktop outside of school. Two of the rockets did not launch. The other two shot straight up into the air! It was a very fun science project, and they all hope to do more again soon.
