On the afternoon of Ash Wednesday, the fifth through eighth grade students worked together to make several fleece tie blankets that will be donated to those in need. Before beginning the project, there was discussion as to why Ash Wednesday is a good day to do something for others. The students were able to complete this project due to a donation of money from St. Peter's Christian Mother's Society and the help of Mrs. Carrie Geissler.
