Since January, the fifth through eighth grades worked to complete their Festival of Nations project. Students chose a country, researched facts about the country, prepared a report, display board, and artifacts related to the country. Artifacts included models of monuments and landforms, pottery, and food. Food that was prepared by students was shared on a special day. Students were able to sample foods from 25 different countries. This project reached its culmination the weekend of April 15-16. On that weekend, the students displayed all of their hard work in the church basement so that parents and parishioners could check it all out.
